Xin Tian Di

Xin Tian Di is one of the attractions in Shanghai. It literally means “New Sky and Land”. I don’t have the picture of the whole place but it’s a hodgepodge of bars, restaurants in an area where it reflects the nostalgic European architecture and bright lights.
When I visited this place, it was packed with tourists or expats. There’s a cozy feeling when you reach the area, it’s like the whole China you thought is transformed into a beautiful memento of the old Shanghai.

I wasn’t able to dine or hang out in this area for long since we were really in a hurry to explore other parts of Shanghai. But if I come back here, I would definitely seat back and relax and observe people who’ll walk around this place.
Sometimes, you get to learn interesting things while eavesdropping from afar. ;p

Update:
Visited again, still the same! really great walking around at night…feels like old Shanghai!
I know it’s not for kids, but I think they lack family type restaurants or dessert place here!
