I just wanted to thank you very much for this ensightful article. I have already bookmarked your site, when I have more free time I am going to have to do some further reading. Well back to my dreaming of Panama or back to the books - I wonder which one is going to win out. :)

Loved HAPPY LEMON! It's a drink stand located in UCenter's ground floor. Try the roast milk tea with pearls, and the milk tea with puff pudding or something like that. DELICIOUS! :)

Also, go for Fruitime, located in front of Hua Qing Jia Yuan. Awesome strawberry yogurt drink.

Try HANMALU, a korean restaurant near Jixiang hotel. Great LA galbi beef!

Hearing the names of all those places bring back good memories. Did you ever try LUSH or did you ever eat the Chocolate Fishie cookie? There was an old couple that cooked these pastries between BLCU campus and the hotel near the west gate... Feichang haochi... I'm heading back to Beijing for another semester abroad and I am definetly hitting up the Chocolate Fishie lady and the Muslim rest. :)
