Beijing Travel Bug

The craving…of a perfectly good Mango Pudding strikes me suddenly. And there was once something close to perfection I tasted in Shanghai.

Mango Pudding is one of the known Chinese desserts..aside from the almond fruit mix or buchi (the one with sesame seeds). I remember when i was still young, I would always order Mango Pudding in a certain restaurant in a hotel near our house. Addicted to its mouth watering mango bits and milk, I scouted for the next best since the restaurant closed already. =(

When we went to Shanghai, we ate at some random restaurant near our hotel. And I couldn’t resist trying their version of Mango Pudding. The shape was really cute and fortunately, its taste is as good as it looks. Every bite would melt in your mouth. Though in Shanghai, mangoes weren’t as sweet as those in the Philippines, but it passed my scrutinizing taste buds.

One complain with the serving, I want MORE MILK in it! and they won’t give in to my request. =(
